Bergan completed her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania in 2022 and her master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2024 where she was received the Academic Excellence Award. She now is a second year graduate student in the Neuroscience program at Weill Cornell, where she is investigating early therapeutic intervention strategies for Parkinson’s disease in Dr. Manu Sharma’s lab. Outside of the lab, you can find Bergan training for marathons, walking dogs, or grabbing a sweet treat!
